After reading some of the lovely comments on our St Matthew’s Day post this morning, it gave us an idea…
A Flower From Highfield
A few people have said they no longer live in Highfield, but still have parents, grandparents, family or friends buried at St Matthew’s.
So we thought we’d offer a little something.
If you live away and would like us to visit a loved one’s grave, send us a private message with their name and, if you know it, roughly where the grave is.
If we can find it, we’ll place a flower there for you and send you a photograph.
There’s no charge and no catch. It’s simply a small gesture for people who may have moved away, but still have a piece of their heart here in Highfield.
If you have an old photo of the grave, or anything that might help us locate it, please send that too.
