Bringing our community together!

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m new to all this.

When we started Highfield Clean & Green, I thought it would mainly be about litter picks and trying to make Highfield look a bit nicer.

My word, I never realised how many different avenues there are that we could take this down.

Cleaner and safer places, flowers and planting, a new park, community garden and green spaces, things for families, community events… and probably loads of ideas we haven’t even thought of yet.

We don’t want it to just be our ideas. We want yours.

So please come and see us on Thursday 24th September at 7pm in the Volunteers Lounge Highfield Cricket Club - Wigan.

You don’t have to join anything. You don’t have to volunteer. Just come in, have a brew and a piece of cake and tell us what YOU would like to see happen in Highfield.
