For generations of Highfield children, the ringing of the school bell meant one thing... dinner time!

Rain, snow or sunshine, everyone made their way across to this building – the old school canteen. It was where thousands of pupils enjoyed their school dinners, caught up with friends and, no doubt, made memories that have lasted a lifetime.
